Art Journaling – Mixed Media @ Maple Grove Arts Center
May 20 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

You will be provided a blank 3-ring binder to act as your journal for 2020, or you may bring your own. In class, we will create (monthly) pages that are designed to be a place for self-discovery, reflection, growth, and creativity. It is a time to explore art techniques, connect with others and yourself.

Here are some of the things you will get at this class:

●      Word of the Year Exercise

●      Goal Setting Worksheet

●      Mantra Builder

●      Art Page Prompts

●      Supply List

●      Creative time, no rules.

Top 5 Reasons to Keep an Art Journal:

1.     Boost your motivation

2.     Improve your focus

3.     Reduce your stress level

4.     Achieve bigger goals

5.     Track your progress on goals you have set

The Art Journaling class mainly allows you a place to come, learn, and grow through DOING art. Lisa will lead you with exercises and show you techniques and styles she uses to create images as inspiration, but the focus here is you. Come ready to explore, glue, paint, cut, draw, CREATE!
