It’s Time for Some Creative Self-Care!

Hello, it’s your brain talking….“do you hear the alarm going off?… it’s time for work, time for school, time to make dinner, time to run to the store, go to the gym, pick up “jimmy”, call your friend, take out the garbage, clean the cat box, do the laundry, get groceries,” and on it goes …… when is it time for YOU? Even though some of these things are part of doing what’s best for you in life, all together they tend to add up to S-T-R-E-S-S and “coping” with it all. Does this sound familiar?

I have a solution for you.  Creative Self-Care.

Creative Self-Care can be a lot of things, but is not limited to the following:

  • Call a friend
  • Get a massage
  • Read a book
  • Prayer & meditation

  • Take a bike ride
  • Sit in the sun
  • Spend time in nature

Do what makes you smile, lose track of time, feels good, leaves you refreshed.

I like to take walks and photography along the way. I am sharing a few of my nature mandalas I have created along my walks for you to enjoy. This is one of the ways I participate in creative self-care.
